The Pearl Ridge Elementary Student Council represents the voice of our students. They help to organize community service projects, arrange school-wide special activities and provide input on school decisions.
Our PRE Student Council Officers started their 2014 – 2015 school year by attending a two-day officer training in July. They learned their roles and responsibilities, developed goals for the year, and planned for this year’s activities. The ’14-’15 Student Council Goals are:
Help people in need, like seniors, orphans, and homeless.
Motivate positive relationships to prevent bullying.
Educate others to avert vandalism and graffiti.
Each fourth through sixth grade classroom elects two students to serve on the council. The officers will be working together with classroom representatives to learn leadership and decision-making skills and the importance of effective communication. Once again Pearl Ridge Elementary is proud to have our students taking an active role in providing service to our school and community.
