PRE makes literacy fun by hosting two Scholastic Books Fairs a year! This extraordinary book sale and literary event is geared to excite children about reading and learning. It offers the most popular books and educational products for all ages, including the newest titles, award-winners, classics, and interactive products from more than 150 publishers.

PRE families, start saving your gently used books and participate in our annual Great Book Exchange! Students that turn in their old, gently used books will be able to select from the other titles that were brought in by the other PRE students. The best part about this is that students are able to get exciting books to read and keep FREE of charge! More information regarding this special event will be forthcoming this September.
Read Across America Celebration: Remembering Dr. Seuss
Read Across America is a way for students, teachers, and families to celebrate the joys of reading, as well as, remember one of the most beloved children's book author / illustrator, Dr. Seuss. PRE celebrates this special day on or around March 2nd, Dr. Seuss's birthday. Students are invited to wear their colorful Dr. Seuss stovetop hats and participate in the many activities planned for the day.
Read Across America Themed Activities May Include:

Students take a Reading Oath lead by our Administration via PRE25 Live Broadcast

PRE's Library Service Club Hui Na Wai Momi: Club of the Waters of Pearl
Wanted: Responsible, respectful, dependable, energetic, and helpful students in grades 4, 5, and 6.
Pearl Ridge Elementary is searching for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students who would like to be part of a service club helping others while having fun!!! Members would be responsible for helping with the work and activities in the Library Learning Center.
Recruitment will begin this September. Students that are interested should listen for application information at their upcoming Library Orientation visit.
